Giovanni Barca lives in Mantova (Italy). Both drawer and portraitist, has chosen pencils to communicate his vision of the world. He represents the people he loves: actors, singers. And his friends of everyday. He pictures their hidden or manifest reality through the expression of their faces and through what appears around them. His style is figurative, his realism is magic, shapes are idealized without betraying their human truth or their soul. Barca works above any fashion, his actuality belongs to his time.
